Is this week over??

This weekend, Saturday through Tuesday, we tended my sisters 5 children. They are great kids and really fun to watch. The only bad thing about tended them is that we had to throw my sister's 7 paper routes. On Sunday we did pretty good. We got up at 5:00 and threw the papers. We even had all 6 kids, Zack included, to 9:00 AM church on time.

Monday was a different story. We got up at 4:30 AM to get the papers done in time for Steve to be at work on time. After we finished rolling the papers, we heard Zack crying. I went to check on him and saw/smelled that he had thrown up all over the play pen. I got him out and gave him a bath. I put him in the car seat to come and do papers. I wrapped towels and blankets all over him just in case. Well it was a good thing because about ever 10-20 minutes he was throwing up. I felt so bad for him. In my hurry to get the papers done, I tripped and fell while I was running back to my Mazda. I had blood dripping from both hands and both knees, but I finished the papers. I went back to my sister's house and got Steve to take care of Zack while I cleaned up. All of my nieces and nephews were very cute helping me clean up. They made sure I had enough band-aids and antibacterial ointment. There was so much gravel and dirt stuck in my cuts it took me forever to clean in out. Not to mention I hadn't had breakfast and was about ready to throw-up or pass out, due to pregnancy. Steve, my wonderful husband, decided to take half the day off. He helped so much! I couldn't have done it without him. We got all the kids off to school, lunches in hand. Well except for one of my nephews. He was sick and way too tired to go to school, so I let him stay home. This all happened before 8:30 AM. The rest of the day was fine, except I couldn't use my hands for anything.

This morning was a lot better. I woke up at 2:00 to Zack crying. He was starving, which I thought was a good sign. But I found it wasn't. He is still very sick. He lied around all day sucking his thumb. He had a high temperature and still throwing up plus having runny diapers. He has never been this sick before. I feel really bad for him. He is starving but whatever he eats either comes up or goes right through him. Poor boy. I hope that he gets better soon! I hate to see him like this.

Hopefully the next part of the week is a little better. I know I really shouldn't be complaining. I really have a great life and my problems are minimal compared to most. But, boy, this week seems like it will never end!
